This was the day we decided that it wasn't necessary for us to have an entry for every single day of our trip. 'Tis better to have fewer entries, we reasoned, than to have one every day and have it seem forced. I'm writing this one purely as an example of the truth of this theory. We were dead on. Also, we decided that it's better to write a day's entry, page, whatever, as soon as possible, not, as I'm doing now, almost a week later. As much as you think you'll remember, you won't. Not a minute.
